It depends upon several factors. The first thing it depends upon is your idealogy. For example, it's my idealogy that I never place ads on mobile app. Many people don't charge anything at all when it comes to education.

In my view those who charge for their service usually fall into two categories. The first kind of people usually have their fixed pricing. The second kind of people decide their rate based on their customers ability to pay.

Then it should also depend upon your expectation. It will also depend upon the amount of money that you can make giving your service to somewhere else if you don't teach these kids. It also depends upon your teaching skills and your competitors pricing.

Since it depends upon so many factors it's little hard to give you exact answer. A good strategy is to consider all these factors and decide the rate yourself.

I remember in 2008–09 I used to go for a Maths class. It was 6 days a week, 1 hour each day. The teacher their used to tell that we can give any amount we can give. Most of us, including me, used to give him Rs 300 a month. The same was with Maths class by another teacher. He also asked to give whatever we can afford to give. We gave him Rs 300 per month for every student. There were some students however who never gave a penny even after taking years of tuition from those teachers. Unfortunately some people believe in exploiting the generosity of people.
