Overview

I am a 'three' year experienced instructor and home tutor with my hands deep down in studying (learning Japanese and English language at a professional level). I conducted my studies by learning through self-study, individually and in groups which has given me important life lessons to use as a teaching's magical wand. Equipped with other experiences like Event Management, teacher's assistant, professional translations, etc., I believe to be able to provide students with a broader perspective of learning and utilizing the gained knowledge in a much more productive manner in outside competitive world. I believe, being even the tiniest part of change is making this life worthwhile. Living by the words of Mahatma Gandhi "Be the Change You want to see in the World", I strive for the betterment of my students.

Teaching Experience in detail in Spoken English classes

As a student, I also faced a certain level of difficulty in expressing my true thoughts and ideas in Spoken English during classroom sessions, not able to speak with confidence, though my grammar was oddly enough impeccable for a student of VI grade. But it was the constant taunting of my classmates and rude English teacher (Mrs. Alka Lamba) which gave me a reason to persevere for, gave me an aim to prove them wrong and feel sorry about their countenance and behavior around me. I already had a good command over grammar, but it was the real magic of the Spoken Language course, which I enrolled in VIII class that gave me an opportunity to speak my mind effortlessly in front of a group of 40 strangers, from different age groups, riding in the same boat as I. They gave me a sense of belonging and their unbiased eyes filled with recognition and encouragement gave me further strength to marvel on my own path. In short, it got me over with the hesitation of speaking in front of people, facing their eyes filled with judgement and made me strong enough to face the world. I had to describe my "teaching experience" relevant to Spoken English, but the reason I wrote about my own experience as a child with the same difficulty as most non-native English speakers face is because I know the ground reality, and hence, when I teach I'm more like a set of "ears and eyes" ready to listen and accept, which propel my students to take leaps of their own volition and carve their own path moving forward.

My friend you don't have to spend too much time reading, and that too rigorously for 12 hours a day. Just take up any good novel or start with best sellers of famous English novelists like Charles Dickens and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, as their writings are quite familiar with the popular culture, you'll neither feel them boring nor they require too much brainstorming. If you're not interested in novels, you can easily put up with English newspapers or Magazines, these will give a better understanding of everyday written English, plus will be a good opportunity to brush up general science and Socio-Political outlook as well. As language learning is a steady process, you have to truly concentrate for 1/2 hrs everyday without any dereliction on your part and in a matter of weeks you'll find yourself improving. All the best.

Hi Rushabh, the simplest and most positive way to learn English is to read newspapers and watch English news or English Television shows on daily basis. On one hand, you'll get to learn the native way and feel of spoken language through television, whereas, by newspaper you'll be able to observe and follow the writing method of articles etc., helping in better understanding of punctuations and correct grammar use. Also, there is no shortcut to learning a language as it's nothing but a gradual process of passing on knowledge and culture to people; both indigenous and foreign. Therefore, you'll require a constant hand of individual practice as well. Hope this helps, if need be, feel free to pop further questions. Thank You.
