By education I am an Engineer, which I pursued for some years and then with passion for music and literature, I took to writing. Later this year I would be publishing my first work. I have been working on Novels, Short Stories, Poems and Essays. I like works that draw lines of links to Music-literature-Nature. I have an experience of nearly two decades in music.
I started to teach Guitar in the year 2000, basic and intermediate levels.
During this time, I was involved with a rock band in Bangalore.
Also I had the opportunity to travel and jammed with musicians of various genres like Hindustani, Carnatic, Jazz, Flamenco and so on. I learnt Hindustani (Sitar) in Varanasi.
Currently I have been working on Flamenco rhythms and trying to fuse with free style of music. Workshops from various genre artists in places like Goa and Bangalore have provided me considerable exposure to experiment on my music.
I believe the learning and sharing of music and musical ideas is a continuous process just like a journey to infinity where new things keep evolving and so learning and sharing has to happen on the move.
