How many Ragas are there in Carnatic Music?

From the 72 Melakartha ragas there are nearly about 1 Lakh Janya ragas (born ragas) based on classification of sampurna Aaudava, Auadava Auadava, Shadava sampurna, Shadava Shadava, Shadava Audava, Nishadantya Ragas etc which u will come to know in higher level.

how can i sing sad song

Sudeep, it is not so as Lakshmi sudheer has mentioned that carnatic music ragas are not classified as nava rasa, but it is there is in dance classification as nine bhavas, the very same feelings u should realise and sing.

how can i keep my voice good and will not find hard to sing a song after several years..

practice makes a man perfect,but too much of talking or practicing before program also may damage ur voice, before the program u need to keep quiet n do meditation will give u grip and depth to ur voice
