force of attraction or repulsion between two charges is directly proportional to the product of charges and inversely propotional to the sqaure of the distance between them. ie, if the same two charges placed at 1 m apart , and are moved to 2 m apart then the force between them becomes one fourth the initial value,if moved to 3 m distance the force reduces to one ninth the initial value. Similarly if two charges are placed at a fixed distance and magnitude of one of the charge is doubled, the force between them becomes double if the mangitude of first charge is doubled and second charge id rripled , but the diatsnce between them remaining the same, the force becomes six times the initial value. keeping the distance same and one of the charge is doubled and the other charge is halved then the foerce remaind same If one of the charge is doubled and the distance also doubled then the force become half the initial value read less
