You can use thermometer for this test:
Tell her to note the temperature immediately after a warm water kept in a glass and again ask her to note the temperature after a few minutes, (when the water becomes cold). She will find a fall in temperature. Now you reason her it’s because water loses its heat due to evaporation. Now she will able to understand why water is cold.
