Section 12.2 – This section deals with the formation of expressions. The algebraic expressions are formed with the combination of variables and constants. In this section, you will learn to form an algebraic expression by using variables and constants, and you will also learn how expressions are formed.
Section 12.3 – This section deals with the terms of expression. In this section, you will learn that the terms are added to form expressions. You will also learn to understand the different terms of an expression. This section deals with the terms that form an expression and how to frame these expressions using the terms. Section 12.4 – This section deals with like and unlike terms in an expression. Section 12.8 – This section deals with using algebraic expressions in formula and rules. In this section, you will learn how expressions are used to write the formulas in a concise and general form. You will learn to use expressions to define any rules and formulas with the help of algebraic expressions. In this section, you will learn how the unknown value is represented using a variable in an expression and the rules or formulas are written in a general format to solve and find the answers.
