There is Mainly two types of Music in India. The first one is North India music called by Hindustani, and another one in the south Indian music called by Carnatic music, and another type of Music is also using to sing our Indian people which is called ethnic music/ Folk or villages songs and western music.

Music styles are divided into people's lifestyle.  Simultaneously the two kinds of music are to being closed with the peoples. Most of the urban peoples are used to sing in the Carnatic Music because which gives the lower sound frequency is giving limited sounds. which is to be safe from the noise pollution in urban. But folk music is expressing the very most high pitch sounds. example. The big drums thudumbu and periya melam. But the Carnatic music instruments is giving very fewer sounds. example: violin, mirudhangam. So music learning is based upon the people's lifestyle. But nowadays most of the rural peoples like to learning and exploring thier Carnatic Music. And most of the urban peoples are trying to learn the village instruments like Pambai and parai. So these kinds of changes will be having in the lifestyle of peoples. So the Carnatic music or any music is to be with the people's changes.
