Pursued my M.A.Social Work (Medical & Psychiatry) at Loyola College, Chennai. I hold an Under graduate degree in B.A.Corporate Economics from Women's Christian College Chennai. I have 3 years of full time job experience and 2 years of Internship experiences related to Medical & Psychiatry.
As an outreach officer, I was able to build a very good relationship in the organisation as well as with the corporate people. I was able to understand the corporate world and the strategies to be used in various situations. This post helped me to not only overcome the challenges but also taught me to plan and strategize to handle difficult situation resulting in a positive note. Often, I had to travel to different parts of South India to conduct Outreach Programmes at various places like Coimbatore, Trivandrum and Kochi. I was even exposed to take care of the outreach expenses which gave me an experience of financial administration. I was also recognised and appreciated as best employees for my excellence in achieving Chennai's Organisation development plan of 2016 as a person.
I am a co-founder of The Goodwill Tribe- Chennai Chapter which was started in 2014 with a belief of kindness and human connection can change the world. It is inspired by this feeling and designs projects and events for people to tap into their inherent goodness and foster deep human connections through small acts of kindness. Our intention is to create a growing community that is strongly connected through the magic of kindness. The Goodwill Tribe operates in 8 cities: Dubai, Sydney, London, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Kuwait & Trivandrum. I have been interviewed many times by various newspapers & magazines for it (The Hindu, the Chennai Times, Times of India, BBC Hindi, etc.).
I am also a Freelance counselor by passion to school students, college students, families and working people. I counsel on topics such as depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts etc.,
