I started learning Hindustani Classical Music almost 6 years ago from Gandharva Mahavidyla, a well known music academy in Pune.
I had taken my Hindustani vocal exams in that institute and passed with flying colors.
My keen interest in music compelled me to move to Chennai. I started learning western classical music 3 years ago in KM Music Conservatory. Having joined the preparatory course, I could be a part of the chamber choir conducted by esteemed foreign faculties and perform at various occasions in A.R.Rahman's music academy.
Western classical music intrigues me and has aggravated my interest in music so I continued taking classes from world renowned western classical teachers, Patrici Rozario and Situ Singh Buehler. I was exposed to various forms of music.
During my course of learning under esteemed Dr. Shruti Jauhari in KM, I could see myself grow and her constant faith in me encouraged me to open my mind to new positive possibilities in the field of music.
I also learnt Hindustani classical music from Ustad Murtuza khan Saheb, son of the great Padma Vibhusan recipient Ustad Ghulam Ali khan Sahab of Rampur-Sahaswan Gharana.
Currently I am learning Hindustani vocals from Pandit Shehnai Krishna Ballesh Ji son of Pandit S.Ballesh ji who is an expert and is trained under Shehnai Virtuoso Ustad Bismillah Khan Saheb.
