This professional course covers

major needs of a Dress Designer

Mostly Ladies garments are covered in this course

We give importance to full practicals.

The most important target is

you can independantly design, cut and

stitch any garment in a reqired style.

In ladies garments we cover

Blouses of different cuttings, different styles i.e.,

Cut blouse, katori blouse, lining blouse,

different designs from design catalogues,

how to stitch with a sample blouse,

how to take measurements, preparing

paper pattern, fabric estimation etc.

In Chudi and Salwar sets of different styles like

princess cut, Empire cut, umbrella cut,

Frock type, String type, arrows cut etc.

Embroidery designs by hand and machine,

Power machine operation, Fabric painting etc.

Tailoring

This course contains two stages:

1.Ladies garmentsLadies garments covers Blouses,

Chudidar Pyjama, Salwar kurtha,

Nighty and childen's wear like shimmy,

petticoat, frocks etc.



A student should have passed atleast 10th std.

and should have mathematical knowledge.

Student have to draw diagrams in their note book then they have to prepare paper pattern after that they have to cut in required fabric and have to sew in the machine.
