Overview

Shrradhanjali is a dance school with a rich experience of over 27 years. It was established by Smt. Madhuri Balram in 1993. Her daughter and disciple, Smt. Latha S. Rajagopalan, has been teaching at Shrraddhanjali for over 23 years and at The Grove School, Chennai for 10 years.

From a young age, students are taught Talam, Nattuvangam, Theory of dance and Choreography along with the regular Bharatanatyam classes. They have performed in various temples, sabhas, TV shows and competitions and thereby brought recognition and accolades for the school. They have been toppers in examinations conducted by Annamalai University, Thanjai Tamil University and Prayathnam. Some of Shrraddhanjali's students have taken up dance as a career and gone on to pursue Certificate Courses, MA and M. Phil with the support of the gurus.

During the initial stages, I used to attend classes only because I got to play and have a lot of fun.As years went by, I slowly started having a passion towards dance and with the guidance of both my Gurus and my parents I went on to complete my Arangetram.
