Overview

I had started learning to play guitar at the age of 15. Since then I have been playing guitar. I did reduce it while I was pursuing my bachelors degree. After the completion of my degree I choose music as my career. I moved to chennai in 2015 and joined KM Music Conservatory. There I enrolled in the foundation course which teaches western classical music. I took up classical guitar as my major subject. Since I moved to chennai I have been associated with a few bands over here and have been performing live. I have performed at venues like Presidency Club, Madras Club, Phoenix Market city, to name a few. I have also performed at several occasions at KMMC.

Can I put steel strings on my classical guitar?

No Pavan, that wont be a good idea

Is Banjo similar to Guitar?

It has few similarities. Both are stringed instrument, both have tuning pegs, both have fret board and playing style is almost similar. But of them sound totally different.

What is one thing that I should always remember while playing Guitar?

Never rush, be patient.

How do I record what I am playing Guitar such that no other noises are heard?

If you record directly through your laptops mic it wont sound good at all. But if you want your guitar to sound good, get an audio interface and if you have a semi-electric guitar connect through it and record . It would sound way better.
