This is Subhashini here.I have over 20 years of experience in teaching & as a performing musician in Chennai & Coimbatore.I have done my MA, MPhil (Carnatic Music, Gold Medalist) from Madras University.

I was working as an Assistant Professor (Music) with Annai Kamakshi Kalai Koodam, KK Nagar, Chennai for an year until March 2018. I was also associated with Avinashilingam Home Science collage earlier, as a Music lecturer working with the department of Music.

Been teaching carnatic music to intermediate & advanced (UG, PG - BA, MA Music) students along with music classes for school going children, elders (at my home) and online music classes for students from India & abroad as well.

I also have good knowledge in teaching Bhajans, tamil devotional hymns, compositions - Thevaram, Tiruppugazh, Divya Prabhandam etc.

Dear Anuradha you need nit worry.sing in a slightly lower pitch,start practicing for ten minutes a day and slowly increase the duration.do Ankara saadhakam daily.heat milk with turmeric powder and pepper with Palm candy in the night daily.you will get rid of this problem for sure.never strain your voice.best... ...more
