IdentityI had worked as a journalist in a tabloid and later on for a national newspaper for 11 years. This experience had honed up my skills for interaction with people from various backgrounds and of course my masters in psychology had helped me to understand people and their issues in a better perspective.
Due to health issues, i refrained from travelling and when i was given an opportunity to teach students, i took it open heartedly and i have never regretted that decision.
It was challenging and at the same time an enjoyable experience being in the midst of students.
Each and every student was very unique and in the course of time, i realized that once you understand the psyche of the student, it is very easy to motivate the child.
My strength lies in identifying the problem of the child and helping the child to come of that fear of that particular subject.
Since CBSE demands that a student should know the lesson from start to finish, understand the topic and interpret in his/her own way, i made sure that the child went through each and every lesson thoroughly without making the subject boring or tiring. Lots of experiences shared on both sides made it more interesting and lively.
I can also proudly add that I have helped the students realize their potential and reach their goal accordingly.
At this juncture I can add that my students had scored above 80 in English ( X and XII )and Sociology ( XII) and the toppers had secured 95 marks.
I also instill good values in them.
