IdentityIndian Geoinformatics Centre, founded on 21 February 2005, offers professional services in Geoinformatics. IGC also offers software skills in GIS, Remote Sensing & Satellite Image Processing and GPS. IGC imparts \"Instructor Led\" training on the most powerful and flexible software family suite - \"ArcGIS 10\" from ESRI. Training is also provided on Open Source GIS and DIP software like GeoServer, OpenLayers, Quantum GIS etc.
Our faculty is drawn from branches such as IT, Electronics and Communication, Geology. Two of the faculty with 22 years of industry experience have a Masters Degree in IT and Geoexploration from IIT, Mumbai. Annually, we conduct over 100 man days of training apart from projects for town planning, agriculture and watershed management.
Our training facility, spread over 2000 sq.ft., is equipped with 20 computers and audio visual aids for conducting hands-on practical classes.
