Emmanuel Chess Center (ECC)

The Emmanuel Chess Centre (ECC) at the Russian Cultural Centre is an institute for professional chess training exclusively for young children in the age group of five to fourteen. The academy has trained more than 5000 students in the past nineteen years. The academy has made a conscientious effort to provide a professional chess training atmosphere and skilled expertise to nurture the budding young chess players to reach great heights. A ratio of 4 children per coach is followed in Emmanuel chess center. Children are divided into groups of 4 based on their knowledge and playing capacity. One coach is assigned for each group. In their groups, children learn concepts and practice. As they progress, they are put in higher level groups. The performance of all the children is constantly evaluated and monitored.The students are trained using the latest software to develop tactical abilities, endgame techniques and other aspects of chess.Regular classes are held for students on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
