Hence you will not be able to build stature and reputation as a trainer. So please do not attempt such shortcuts. A certification helps as you will learn how to structure a training session. You will learn about the design and delivery of a session. the use of icebreakers,how to keep a session"alive", the art of feedback etc. If you want become a full time trainer, please do a certification. In our CV we mention about EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION. Mostly people refer this word as one's degree / diploma etc...I read this word into two parts: One is Education and other is Qualification. Education is something which is your real inner capability, coated with the positive attitude and right frame of mind, close to your heart and real you. In other words, an honest perspective towards your duties and responsibilities as a human being. But the Qualification is just a criteria to qualify for something or to be eligible to achieve something. So to qualify for some position / function / Job etc. one has to have an Academic Education (called Degree / Diploma / Certificate). but to perform better, one has to have a very good education. So to answer your question, If you wish to apply for some Company for their Internal training department as a trainer, these certificate play a crucial role. However, as mentioned by others also, once you are in the job, its only your Education which takes you to heights or Lows. In nut shell - Get a certificate (if you wish to work in a company where it is necessary to show a certificate) but Keep on adding into your "Education" because outer world does not check your Qualification (Certificates) and accept you purely on the basis of your Education. read less

To train someone in soft skills and personality development, it is not mandatory to undergo any certification. However, to gain entry into any institution as an internal trainer or to approach companies or Industries, certifications do help initially. However, having gained entry, further success depends again purely on your knowledge and your capability. read less
