I am confused. Is it expected for a tutor to be omniscient. I'm going to take class Xth tuition now. I've to prepared him for competitive exam. Will it be right to consult book or Internet while teaching to verify my knowledge?

Use text books as well as referral books. Keep internet as your second option.

How much should I charge for class IX Science and Maths subject respectively per month. And please tell me whether science is considered as one subject or 3 subjects, physics chemistry biology and if so then how much to charge for the same?

Hello Mamta, the trend going on now is that you can charge in hourly basis. For a class IX student you can charge from 300 INR to 500 INR per hour depending on your teaching skills. Answering your second question, I would like to tell you that if you are teaching a student of class IX then it depends on you how you consider these three subjects, whether to consider as a single subject or three different subjects. Let me explain. If there are three different books for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, then you can charge for three individual subjects. And if these three subjects are included in one single book then you should charge for a single subject. But it basically depends upon you.
