I have been a trainer and mentor for the past 5 years or so.
The main thing that I love about teaching is that it enables to share my knowledge and strengthen my own understanding.
I love to simplify and explain matters taking everyday scenario and experiences which makes it easy for my wards to grasp as ideas.
I refrain from being judgemental and explain things from a basic level of understanding.
My strengths would be that I am able to extrapolate the teaching into everyday learning experience thereby making learning a simple process rather than a dutiful chore.
I love teaching English as well as imparting communicating skills. Plus I would also be interested in soft skills training.
Though I have mostly been interacting in age groups of late teens and early 20's , My empathy would ensure I am able to help out students across most age spectrums.
My learning as a teacher is that there is always learning to be had from helping others. It enhances my own grasp of ideas and makes me better at articulation of Ideas.
I am recognised for my Training and Mentoring abilities in Inter as well as Intra Departmental forums within my own company.
I believe in traditional teaching method citing readily available examples from real life and do not bother complicating simple learning with computer gimmicks etc. Though I am not averse to usage of PPT and Printed Hand outs for further reference and re-iterations.
