"If you are a serious seeker and have been in pursuit of a Guru and found Venkat Sir, then undoubtedly, you have reached a RIGHT GURU! Having had the privilege of being his student for the past four plus years, I have always felt that I have progressed every moment under his tutelage. My passion towards Carnatic Music has been kindled further in his association; besides, he has imparted catholicity in my outlook with total acceptance and appreciation for other forms of music as well. Besides the formal training, he has been playing a predominant role of being a mentor to me - the culmination of a real and true Guru.
