My students describe me as a ball of infinite energy. Soo my Mantra is the more energetic the class is, the better the learning outcome is. Before I start every topic, I establish the need to learn the topic first. What's the problem in the world that needs to be solved. How would you solve it? And let them get creative with their ideas. And then, critical evaluation of their ideas would drive them to accept the facts and figures. That's when I'd teach them the concept and the reality. When it comes to exam preparation, I take the smart work pays off method. Having analysed 10yrs of past papers, I tell them exactly which topic is important and what's expected from you by the examiner. I train my kids to think like an examiner and write answers like the examiner which will ultimately get them the score they need.
