Experiential learning is the process of making meaning from direct experience. Simply put, Experiential Learning is learning from experience. The Sunday Science School programme is held on each Sunday, for little over 2 hours, students get together to perform Scientific Activities at a specific location. I Play I Learn - R.T.Nagar is happy to announce the start of its first batch of Sunday Science School... An introduction to the fascinating World of Basic Science through Do-It-Yourself activities. Sunday Science School (SSS) projects and activities are not directly based on any specific syllabus, however, the topics chosen for this programme are very much a part of regular curriculum during school years.
Students perform different experiments or build / make the projects under guidance of facilitators. They take home these ready projects and experimentation material on every sunday. All projects and activities are performed by every student independently. This is necessary to improve experimentation skill of every participant. Our facilitators see to it that project / activity of every participant is successful.
On every Sunday, after completion of activities, facilitator discusses the science of these experiments / projects with students. This is participatory discussion. Students also share their understanding and try to relate these experiences with their life.

SSS programme enables participants to think differently and plan their own projects, with little or no help from parents.
The model of SSS is effective as it assures activities to every participant. On each Sunday, new kits and projects are taken home. This helps parents to know about the progress of SSS programme and development of their ward. Basic Concepts are made familiar with through Do It Yourself activities.
