SAPADI GURUKUL

We are newly starting our "SAPADI GURUKUL"(The Journey of Music) with new talents and we welcome people who have great interest on learning Tabla and Vocal music.This Music school is under Guru- Shishya Parampara(Teacher-Student Tradition).The Guru -Shishya (teacher-student) relationship which was the hallmark of this system is breaking down. If this tradition is not maintained, very soon it may exist only in textbooks.

The aim of the Academy is to:
1. Establish a school for the teaching of Indian Classical music in the traditional style;
2. Provide scholarships to children to assist them in their learning of music;
3. Create opportunities for students and young artists to develop their potential through study and performance;
4. Provide sustainable and right livelihood for qualified and dedicated teachers.

The Academy opens its wealth of knowledge and its doors providing students with all facilities needed such as a proper music hall, class rooms in a safe and peaceful atmosphere and comfortable, clean and quiet accommodations apart from distractions.


For TABLA, Sri Santhosh Hegade will take the class and
For VOCAL,Sri Laxminarayan Bhat will take the class..
They both are well trained Artists and have the keen knowledge of Music with more than 10 years of experience in their fields.
