I did my MBA (finance) in 2017 attended few interviews but didn't succeed from then prepared for government exams  didn't crack the exam .I want to do a sap module some people are suggesting its a waste of time as you are fresher and go for small job .Few of my friends did sap in various modules and spending idle without job .I was in dilemma to go for sap .if i can go which module is better for me along with Fico  . can i do in local institute as they told course duration is 45days

I am currently working as a manual tester and thinking to learn DevOps, I do not have any coding knowledge/experience. Can anyone suggest if the path I am choosing is preferable?

While it is creditable that you are thinking to learn DevOps, which has no connection to what you are currently doing, it would be some disruption. While it is creditable that you are thinking to learn DevOps, which has no connection to what you are currently doing, it would be some disruption. You will need to know the entire automation pipeline and learn the DevOps tools and techniques.  
If you want to leverage your current experience of testing, Big Data ETL testing is another option. This way, you can claim that its a natural progression, but you would remain in testing stream, the difference is you are in a more lucrative field.  
Would you need programming for DevOps or Big Data Testing?
The answer is yes. In this day and age, you must know a little bit of scripting and programming. There is no harm in learning and attempting. You have everything to gain.

Is it true that in a few years most of the code will be written in JavaScript?

Mostly true for UI design. But backend processing or some special needs such as encryption - you would still need, Java, C++ and other languages.

While it is creditable that you are thinking to learn DevOps, which has no connection to what you are currently doing, it would be some disruption. You will need to know the entire automation pipeline and learn the DevOps tools and techniques.  
If you want to leverage your current experience of testing, Big Data ETL testing is another option. This way, you can claim that its a natural progression, but you would remain in testing stream, the difference is you are in a more lucrative field.  
Would you need programming for DevOps or Big Data Testing?
The answer is yes. In this day and age, you must know a little bit of scripting and programming. There is no harm in learning and attempting. You have everything to gain.
