I have been trained for 15 years in Bharatanatyam, an Indian Classical Dance. I have also learned contemporary dance forms for the past 10 years from several artists like Smt. Tanusree Shankar, Jacob Jonas, Bruno Catalano, Gallim Dance Company, FLOCK, Sydney Dance Company, Akram Khan Company, etc. The ATA movement paradigm teaches students to build the strength, flexibility, and balance required for learning different dance forms and teaches how to create movements and choreograph dance pieces. Currently, I am an independent artist who loves to share her interest in movement art with fellow students. I host workshops and regular classes. We paint the canvas of the space with our movements. I focus on three vital methods: 1. We share our paradigm and pedagogy that help us break free from creative blocks and develop our own movements through improvisation. 3.
