Should drums be double tracked in a mix?

Double track means? L & R or Double layer...?? If you are looking for higher volume of drum track sound, add a compressor or a limitor to it. If your question is about Stereo (L & R) then ofcourse yes.

Is it worth it to start to learn drums at the age of 27?

Not at all. Age never matters....! Just find the right tutor and practice every lesson / exercise at least for 1 hour everyday.

How do I set up 3 mics for drums for a live stage performance?

Buy a Audio Mixer (4 - 6) inputs. which would cost you around 7 - 9k. connect the mic's (all the three) according to your requirement and take the output of the mixer to the amplifier / speaker.

I have pain in my left arm while playing guitar. iam a newbie. is it normal? iam learning from online tutorials.

First you need to follow the basic instructions : Sitting position, Holding the Guitar and Finger and Hand Positions which are very very important for any Instrument Player. See that your Left hand thumb remains straight when you are moving other fingers on the fret board and also have to maintain... ...more
First you need to follow the basic instructions : Sitting position, Holding the Guitar and Finger and Hand Positions which are very very important for any Instrument Player. See that your Left hand thumb remains straight when you are moving other fingers on the fret board and also have to maintain the gap between your Palm and the Guitar Neck as much as possible. You can Google the images of the Left hand position easily. But there is no short cut for Music...!!
