Overview

I am an IT guy by profession and I work in a MNC. Since I work there only Monday to Friday I have some free time on weekends which I want to spend my in a productive way. Hence I'm looking forward to help out anybody who is interested in learning basic to intermediate level of French OR basic level of Spanish.

Apart from my MNC job I have been teaching on and off since past 5 years. Teaching is not my main-stream profession hence I don't mind telling that I have taught on and off.

About my French I would like to mention that: I have done already B2 level in French 3 years ago and currently I'm studying for my master level C1 and C2 (i.e the highest level as per Alliance Française).

In Spanish I have completed only Intermediate level (B1.1) myself but I'm comfortable in teaching beginner levels in it.

Is there any similarity between French and German language?

No. French belongs to romanic languages with Latin roots. Spanish and Italian are the sister languages to name a few. Whereas German has germanic origins and is rather similar to Swedish, Norwegian and Dutch. Both are very different in terms of Grammar structure, phonetics and vocabulary as well.

how many days needed to learn basic french?

Ideally as per a proper study pattern with a A1 course book. It would take you 2-3 months. 2hrs of study on alternative days i.e. 24 hrs in a month. A 60 hrs of total study would give a basic level proficiency in French.
