9yrs of R&D exp. in finite element development and FE analysis. Guided 10+ M.Tech. students for their Master's thesis. Exposure to industrial R&D has given me an in-depth knowledge in Solid Mechanics, Finite Element Method, Mechanical Vibrations and Fracture Mechanics. I intend to train B.E. and M.Tech. graduates in Finite Element Analysis using FE software covering static (linear/nonlinear), normal model, buckling, time/frequency response, fatigue, crack propagation, impact and contact analysis. The course will also be supported with theory covering: Euler Bernoulli / Timoshenko beam theories, Kirchoff's and Mindlin's plate theory, Finite Element formulation procedure (bar, beam, rod) and 4-noded quadrilateral element, lumped and consistent mass formulation. Shall also discretely cover basic concepts in mechanical vibrations and fracture mechanics that will help in carrying out the above mentioned analysis. The course will be ideal for students and working professionals, who aspire to be a CAE analyst.
