Ashwin Mohan

I am Ashwin Mohan from Thrissur, Kerala giving online and offline mentoring for UPSC aspirants, both beginners, and experienced aspirants. I am currently living in Bangalore.

I have been preparing for UPSC civil service examination and have written mains two times. I have taught various subjects for general studies mains including Indian Polity, Indian Economy, and Ancient History in Kerala State Government-run State Civil Service Academy and other private reputed institutions such as IAS Hotspot, where I was the academic coordinator.

I have almost 6 years of teaching experience in civil services including online and offline mode and have trained thousands of aspirants in their illustrious journey of achieving their dream of civil services.

Currently, I am the faculty of Polity and Economy of two reputed institutes in Bangalore and also work in the content development team of a reputed national UPSC preparation portal.

I was also the senior sub-editor and the digital content manager of a reputed national news media. There, I was involved in various responsibilities at the editorial desk including drafting, editing, and publishing current affairs for the website and opinions on the daily news cycle.

I am passionate about teaching and my areas of interest and competence include current affairs news analysis, polity, economy, and environmental issues. My career as a copy editing professional and English news media manager has given me a greater edge in answer writing and evaluation skills which will be an added advantage in mains paper valuation and question paper analysis.
