I have joined Sangeet Sadhana last year to learn Hindustani Classical. It's been an year now, n I can say that it's the right place for any music lover. I am really grateful to all the teachers especially Bhaswati Ma'am and Swathi Ma'am for all their teaching and support throughout my music journey. When I joined, I didn't have any knowledge on classical music. Here at Sangeet Sadhana, all the teachers are very dedicated, passionate to teach and have amazing method to transfer the music knowledge to the students. They cover all the basic information about the music in the orientation session, which makes your base very strong and learning journey very interesting. In regular class, they teach all the raagas one by one in detail, which includes raaga basic information, gayaki, laya, chota khayal, bada khayal, Vistaar and Taan. Teachers make us practice by giving us chance to sing in front of the class on one o one basis. Which gives us more confidence about our singing. That way you enjoy your entire music journey with your fellow students. I am looking forward for more and more joyful musical experiences at Sangeet Sadhana.

Sangeet Sadhana is part of my life since 2017 and I am learning Hindustani classical music Vocals here. My journey with the school started with basics, like introduction and history of classical music, Alankars, Meerkhands and Taals. Journey continued with basic ragas where Ragas are taught in a specific manner starting from its basic information to Sargam and Lakshan Geet. In Khayal Gayaki, Compositions are taught with Bada Khayal(In Vilambit Laya), Chhota Khayal(In Madya or Drut Laya) and Tarana. Semi-classical forms like Bhajan, Dadra, Gazal, Thumri, Tappa are also taught. Composition notations are given to follow them while practicing. Guru sings first showcasing vistar and its chalan. Later, we have to sing the same repetativly along with guru until we are clear. We also get a chance to perform same one-on-one basis in front of the class which helps us to go through what guru has taught and get better clarity on raga. In offline classes, few times, tabla player is called to accompany which gives understanding of various tabls Theka & singing with that. Sangeet Sadhana conducts concerts where music maestros come and perform. It conducts workshops and competitions too where we get chance to perform on stage in front of 300 people. It gives good exposure on performing end. In Bangalore, Sangeet Sadhana is a great place to learn Hindustani classical music. I am very grateful to my school and my guru Anindita ma'am for getting me more into Hindustani classical music.

Learning music from Swathi ma'am has changed my life! Swathi ma'am is so sincere with her art and her teaching. She's incredibly patient and very very accommodate with your learning needs. The ideology of the school itself isn't like a typical commercial hobby school! Ma'am makes sure we devote a lot of time to each raag devouring it slowly; till our ears get used to it and teaches us to revisit each raag. The part I look forward to the most about our classes is when we learn about a raag and ma'am tells us more about it, discusses the music by different maestros and tells us about her days with her Guru :)

I joined sangeet sadhana hindustani vocals in feb 21. Just 8 months of online classes with sangeet sadhana has changed my relationship with music, both listening to music (both classical and popular) and singing. I really enjoy my classes with swathi ma'am. Ma'am takes us through each raag meticulously, explaining the theory and then introducing various pieces based on the raag, both classical and semi-classical. Each class usually has a number of students with differing abilities -- some more gifted or trained than others. Swathi ma'am is extremely patient and encouraging with all students, and gives us individual attention without placing any pressure. She gives feedback based on our particular level. It is not a one size fits all approach no matter where you are starting from, she gives you tools to improve and learn, and applauds progress. She gives advice on how we can do our riyaz and which features we should focus on to develop our vocal skills (while understanding our time limitations as working people). It is an added bonus that she has a beautiful voice, so even listening to her perform or illustrate something in class is a delight. Her style of teaching is not one where you just try to imitate her singing. She gives us the 'flavour' of each raag, and encourages us to develop our own modifications or variations. She also encourages us to develop our understanding of sur rather than feeding us notes. Highly recommended.

I have joined sangeet sadhna this year in the month of july.. And they started with the orientation classes. The way swati mam and bhaswati mam were focusing on each and every student. I liked that way, in our batch we were maximum adults but they were treating and making us to understand very easily and now I am learning music under the guidance of bhaswati mam. The way she teaches it's superb. If we will not understand she will keep on repeating and sing till we understand. She is very patient. Loving and understand the students problem very well. I like and love to learn music under bhaswati man's guidance. Thank you so much mam.

I have been leaning Hindustani vocal from Sangeet Sadhana, since last year. Like many of us, I had inclination to sing and glad that i found the right school. SS to me is a place where the gurus have patience ad willingness to ensure I enjoy music while learning. For someone like me who lost confidence in attempting to see the grandeur of music, I considered myself blessed because my teachers Reetesh Nayak, Swati Ma'am walked with me to ensure my comfort and flexibility. Now I am taking classes from Bhaswati Ma'am, who will never give up on her students and gratefully that is simply why i started enjoying my lessons. I am very well enjoying the musical me and the journey:)

I have been learning Hindustani classical music at Sangeet Sadhana for 3 months now. It's been a wonderful experience so far, the classes are conducted very well, with individual attention to each student. They pay attention to getting the basics right, concentrate on the swar and taal, and actively encourage all students to sing in each class, and practice. Notes and recordings are also shared post class for students to practice. Would definitely recommend Sangeet Sadhana music academy to anyone who wants to learn hindustani music.

I have been learning Hindustani Classical Vocal for around 2 years at Sangeet Sadhana. I am thankful to one of my college seniors who advised me to join Sangeet Sadhana to resume my journey with singing after years. Right from the beginning, the focus was primarily on building a strong foundation in terms of understanding the importance of individual swaras(notes) in a saptak(octave), ear training with tanpura and harmonium, basic taals to start with. After the basics, raagas were demonstrated with numerous vistaars to understand the flow of swaras and help realize what differentiates one raag from the other. This also made easy to understand various feelings/mood associated with a raag. I am really thankful to be a part of Anindita maam's class and get to learn through her excellent presentation of raagas and thorough pedagogy. Each individual is encouraged to present raagas & compositions in every class followed by detailed feedback and essential tips given by Guru to improve one's singing, versatility & voice texture. The experience has been worthwhile so far and I'm looking forward to advance further by following the guidance of dear Gurus to become better as a singer as well as a musician.

"Music is the medicine of mind and hindustani classical music is the soul. Listening taanpura gives a goosebump to me and I feel that how a fish can not live without water just like that a musician is incomplete without knowledge of classical music before coming to sangeet sadhana I did not know a of classical music but trust me it is one year for me learning here and now I can easily understand basic raaga even I am confident about singing alaaps ,taans correctly, sangeet sadhana is one of the best place in bangalore to learn music because the way we are guided by our gurus that is something which I have no word for and gurus majorly focus on basics as basic is the backbone. You can find a small batches here so that gurus can focus on each and every student even time to time exam are also conducted by pracheen kala kendra to test us but I will suggest everyone to have patience about learning .Roam was not built in a day so we need to give time to learn and build a great knowledge in classical music. I would recommend people to close their eyes and choose a music school like sangeet sadhana.

I have been training with Sangeet Sadhana for almost a year now. In a short period of time, i have been taught the complete basics of hindustani classical music. I have learnt raag bhoopali, and now on raag yaman. The number of bandishes learnt are innumerable within such a short span of time. I am very happy that i was recommended this classical music institute. My dream of learning hindustani classical sangeet was fulfilled in the way that i had always envisioned, by The Gurus of Sangeet Sadhana. I like their professionalism which is reflected in areas of expertise as well as in conducting and management of their class sessions. The accountability factor is very strong. Mentioning about the teaching itself, all the Gurus are very highly educated and talented, in the field of classical music. For a beginner or anybody starting their journey in the classical music field, i would strongly recommend Sangeet Sadhana as their school of learning, because their foundation course is simply unmatched. The basic knowledge shared and taught with plenty of patience and respectful interaction, is something which is unique to Sangeet Sadhana. All the Gurus are highly respected, accomplished and polished in their mannerisms, speech and interactions. Naman to all my Gurus.

S

As a student, I can say that the Sangeet Sadhana is the best school to learn Hindustani classical. The classes are conducted with full attention given to sur and taal. The number of students in a group is kept less so that our gurus can hear everyone sing. Traditional Guru-Shishya parampara is strictly followed which is very important to learn music. One of the best decisions was to join the school.

I have been learning hindustani classical music here in sangeeth sadhana for more than a year now. It's a divine place where we can connect to music and the emotion of the raags. Great thanks to all our gurus who do this with utmost passion. My interest toward classical music has increased multifold and my understanding of the raags has really improved from where I started. 3 years ago while I was working in bangalore I wanted to learn hindustani and I am really blessed to find this place. Unfortunately I had to move overseas within 6 months and I couldn't continue the class and the online classes were not in practise then. Last year during covid times, one good thing which happened which I consider to be blessing in disguise is that the online classes were started and they had posted in their Facebook group. The moment I saw that I was so thrilled and excited to see some light in pursuing my musical passion. I got in touch with my guru and she was so sweet to not just take me in the class but also made ensure I could practise and revise the raags which I had learnt earlier by accommodating in the appropriate batch. I realised what I had missed all this while when I rejoined 5he class. Honestly the feeling of being a part of the class and getting inspired from our gurus everyday and experiencing music is divine. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is keen on understanding and experience the joy of music in their lives.

I am learning Hindustani classical music here for over a year now. The dedication and commitment of teachers is commendable. The teachers give personal attention to each student. Music here is not considered another casual hobby but a way of worship. If you are serious about music and are looking for long term commitment and growth then this is the place for you.

J

I have been a student of Sangeet Sadhana for about 1.5 years now, and can state with absolute confidence that this is one of the best places in the city to learn Hindustani Classical Music.

R

Ruchi Sharan

I could not have found a place better than Sangeet Sadhna to start my musical journey. With erratic work schedule without a fixed duty hours, I wondered whether I will be able to manage and I was told by the Gurus that If you love classical music we will work a way around it. That was exactly what happened. It is not just any regular music school where you learn as per the syllabus. It is a haven for music lovers where you get to experience music that stirs your soul. The Gurus are so patient, always there to nurture your skills, and correct your mistakes. I see it as a blessing to have chanced upon joining Sangeet Sadhna. I recommend it to all those who long to learn Hindustani classical music.

Such an authentic place, and the decorum & sanctity of the place is very well maintained, even today. I was searching randomly to start learning classical, and I am glad I landed here. A very positive place. It has been around 1.5 years now that I’ve been learning here, and I hope to continue learning from the Gurus here, who have been very supportive, and of course you get scolded now and then for your mistakes, but really glad I’ve been scolded for my mistakes. Can’t thank enough.

I've been a part of Sangeet Sadhana for almost a year and half now and i am glad to be a part of it. The gurus here are highly skilled and talented and they teach us with dedication and passion. Having no prior experience or knowledge about Hindustani music or even classical music, i had to struggle initially for few months to get sur, taal right. But once you get basic understanding of these elements, the learning becomes joyful and interesting. The ragas the gurus teach us are soothing, melodies and are ghambir in nature. Learning these ragas paves a way to explore the depth and beauty of classical music. The more you learn and listen to classical music , the less youâ??ll feel interested towards listening to filmy songs. The sangeet Sadhana school follows Guru Shisya parampara which transforms us to be respective and show dedication towards music . If you are interested in learning Hindustani music from scratch then this is definitely the place to be. Youâ??ll definitely get peace of mind after attending the classes.

I have been attending Hindustani vocal classes since July 2017, and it has been an inspiring and enriching experience. I love the way importance is given to basics and theory. Everyone these days are in a hurry to jump to Ragas and compositions, but at Sangeet Sadhana the Gurus are very careful in imparting the fundamentals and basics. The enthusiasm with which the gurus teach, the discipline with which the classes are conducted and the knowledge that is gained from fellow students makes the whole experience enthralling and mesmerizing! Sangeet Sadhana also brings students closer to maestros of Hindustani Classical Music. Recently more than 50 students worked tirelessly with the Gurus to organize a once in a lifetime concert called Benarasiya which hosted Pandit Rajan Misra Ji and Pandit Sajan Misra Ji. This sort of opportunity is not easily made available for students like us. I am grateful and glad that I decided to start my Hindustani Classical Music journey with an institution like Sangeet Sadhana.

Sangeeth Sadhana is not just a school or an organization which propagates and promotes classical music. To me, it is a place of worship; it is a temple where music is not only adored and appreciated but also respected and valued to an extent where the learner who enters this temple actually enters a galaxy of fulfillment and contentment that music has to offer. Here at Sangeet Sadhana, I learnt that music is a devotion; I learnt that music has the ability to connect the soul directly to the supernatural power which I call it, god. Beyond the authenticity and purity, the style of teaching which is followed by Sangeet Sadhana reflects discipline and dedication and makes the learning mind understand that music is to be accepted, learnt and meditated through heart. My gurus do not just guide me but actually understand what am I, what I lack, what is my plus and walk along with me to drop me to the destination called authenticity of this art. Ultimately it is the flawless rendering that every learner aims at, and same is the objective that Sangeet Sadhana walks towards. I feel blessed and privileged to be a part of this temple of art, learn, get better and experience glory. Such is the guru-sishya parampara here, supporting and directing every aspiring musician towards bringing out the hidden artist within him/her.

I have been part of Sangeet sadhana for more than 1.5 years. I am glad to be part of a school which is not only teaching students music and art but also nurturing them to be humble in life. Concept of guru shishya parampara which is followed in the school helps you in connecting to music in profound way. Passion and knowledge which gurus in this institute have for classical music is awesome. I look forward for my class as I get to learn new things everyday. In addition we have lot of baithaks organised by school where students get a platform to showcase their learning. I would recommend this institute for passionate people who want to understand and pursue music.

It has been a life changing experience for me at Sangeet Sadhana! Here one can find music at it's most authentic and purest form. Every single class from day 1 has been enriching and so fulfilling! What makes Sangeet Sadhana unique is the teachers. Apart from their incredible talent and knowledge which inspired me everyday, what touched me the most is that they teach from their heart! They will go out of their way and repeat everything 1000 times to ensure that the students are getting the lessons correctly. In addition, Sangeet Sadhana organizes baithaks and concerts often which gives the students an opportunity to witness maestros performing and also to showcase their talent. I will be forever grateful to Sangeet Sadhana, and especially Swathi Ma'am for teaching me what authentic music is.

It has been really an amazing experience to be the part of such great institute of music and art.To be very honest it was only here that for the first time i realized that what actually the essence of classical music is.Not only this the atmosphere in the class is so soothing and enriching that along with the most effective learning there is some sort of peace and serenity which really heal mind ,body and soul.Although i have been the part this institute only for four months,I feel quite a remarkable change in my singing ability. For the first time i got to know the very basic of the Hindustani Classical music. My sincere reverence to the teachers of the institute.I left the institute for my personal reasons but hope to join it soon.

I have been a part of this family since last one and half years and the journey has been amazing. I was learning music before as well, but this is the place where I fell in love with classical music. Discipline, Dedication, determination and devotion are the main pillars of our school and it has helped me not only in music but also to develop myself as a human being. If you want to experience the purest form of music then this is the place. All the teachers are equally talented and gunni people. They chose different ragas and semi classical (bhajan, thumri, ghajal etc.) compositions according to your level and will ensure that you get back to them with practice. School arranges tabla sessions in class to give us a feeling of live performance where collaboration with other accompanists is very much required. Music is mostly practical but gaining the theoretical knowledge is equally important and ma’am do focus on this part as well, we do have sessions to discuss about history of Indian classical music, different gharanas and their rendition styles. School conducts series of baithaks, concerts and workshops where we get opportunities perform, listen to our peers and other eminent professionals. Anindita ma’am is like a mother to me, equally strict and soft and Sangeet Sadhna is an extended family where I got friends with same interest.

Well I feel quite privileged for having had an opportunity to be a part of Sangeet Sadhana and learn the basics of classical from the most dedicated set of gurus I have ever come across. I moved to Bangalore in October last to last year, starting my job life. One fine day I thought of registering for classical music(for which I always had a desire to learn, but never got a chance to learn). Soon I got acquainted with Anandita ma'am, Ananya ma'am and Reet Sir, after joining the classes and learning from them was really a great experience. Also one special mention is that I made few superb friends too. Unfortunately I had to leave SS as I was moving to Mumbai, but the teachings are imbibed within me and soon I'll take up classes in Mumbai. It was a wonderful 1 1/4 yrs of musical journey which I had to pause with a grief in my heart. Cheers to the SS team.

It has been about 1.5 years in Sangeet Sadhana and it has been an amazing journey so far. I have a big smile when I am writing this about My Institute and I say it proudly! Here, focus is on making the basics and foundation very strong. It very rarely happens that I miss a class (inspite of Cold, fever, etc) and I keep looking forward to attend the classes. Here, tradition of Guru Shishya is followed. A strict discipline is maintained and stressed upon in terms of attendance to class, timings, Riyaz, payment of fees or whatever be it. Music has become an integral part of me and I have realized the importance of being sincere and dedicated to music. Baithaks are arranged, in which students are encouraged to perform on stage. It is an amazing experience to come together as students get together for various practice sessions, correct each other, teach each other and ofcourse have fun. Can’t thank this institute enough for imbibing the love for music in me. I was initially in the Beginners batch and was moved to Anandita Ma’am’s batch as I progressed. It is wonderful to see the change in me. Mam gives attention to the most minute details and does not let us settle down for anything less than perfection. Reet Sir and all other teachers of the institute, who don’t take classes just for the heck of it. Their passion towards what they do is something that can b only experienced and cannot be expressed in words. If you have passion towards classical, This is the place! Happy Learning.

Music is the shining path over which an individual travels to bring out the lively magical crystal architecture and cosmic energy to the world. Sangeet Sadnana is a beautiful journey with spectrum of emotions. As the name implies itself, the institute is a place of worshiping music which offers the opportunity to immerse in the infinity. This School has an architecture on the base of discipline, Focus, patience and perseverance of the respected Gurus, which are also expected from students to be a successful learner.Gurus give clear elaboration and improvisation and give importance to perceive the divine grace .Every individual is given prior importance to learn, practice, observe, listen, imitate, admire, debate, share, perform and excel in all their respective fields. There is an excellent atmosphere one aspires to expand the horizons in music. The sacred relationship between the "Guru shishya parampara" is beautifully maintained here with knowledge transmission to the next generation. As an old student of Vocal here, I strongly recommend this school for the people who are in search for the path of the beautiful journey of music.

Very authentic Hindustani music school with great emphasis on fundamentals. That's what I love here. I am simply enjoying my musical studentship here. The way the teachers explore the Ragas is simply awesome.

Happy to be a part of Sangeet Sadhana. I like the fact that the teaching here begins with the background and the meaning of music so that one gets to know the journey before one starts it. Ambiance is very calm, peaceful, musical. Focus is given to the basics for a strong foundation. Teachers are very helpful here. They are ready to take extra classes or practice sessions if the need be. One more thing which I liked about it was that attention is given to each and every individual in a class. One will not get shadowed by other peers in class. Teachers here ensure that every individual gets it right and every individual grows. Apart from this, many other opportunities are given to show and enhance one's talent. Teaching happens here in a very traditional way. One will understand the true guru shishya parampara here. I can assure that if anyone wants to learn real music, this is the right place to be.

S

Santosh Jagtap

If you are looking for an authentic place to learn Hindustani classical music, this is the place to look forward. I thoroughly enjoyed the way they taught and the attention they gave. You can actually feel the guru Shishya parampara followed here unlike lot of places which are in the business of music.

Sangeet Sadhana is a temple of music. I was a part of this esteemed organisation for one and half years . Though I had to discontinue due to personal commitments , I was not able to find a place which could replace Sangeet Sadhana. Such is the dedication and quality of classes. Everyone one who is a part of the organisation is equally committed towards the Students. Deserves plus star rating.

S

Srijita Sanyal

Sangeet Sadhana is an institution seeped in the ancient tradition of 'gharana'. They introduce children to Hindustani classical and inspire the sense of magic, wonder, discipline and dedication. Enrolling my daughter to classes was the best decision and the teachers in the institute have completely taken over the responsibility to motivate and teach traditions that are centuries old.

A

Archana Kasat

I found about Sangeet Sadhana 4 months back when I was looking for a good Hindustani classical coach for my 7 year old daughter. I have seen a lot of improvement in my daughter's voice and rhythm in this short span. Sangeet Sadhana is about serious learning and the teachers out there give utmost attention to the progress of each kid. Recently they organised a musical concert Udaan where all the kids performed. Some of the musicals played on this evening really gave goosebumps since we do not get to hear these classical melodies live these days. In all I think Sangeet Sadhana is a perfect choice for Hindustani classical music in Bangalore for kids and adults.

N

Nagalakshmi

My son is learning music for last 2+ years. It has been a wonderful experience. My son enjoys going to school. All teachers are very professional and best in the subject of Music. They regularly organize the concerts to give the kids, platform to exhibit their talent. Apart from practical vocal music, they also teach theory and make them understand technical details about raagas, taal etc. I am happy that my son is under good guidance.

A

We are pleased to be a part of sangeet sadhna family. Its been one and half year since my daughter started her musical journey. They have given ample opportunities to showcase on stage. Just concluded " UDAAN" was such an occasion where we were thrilled by the fantastic performance of these small kids. Idea to time travel through Indian classical music was simply fabulous and innovative. Once again I want to thank sangeet sadhna for organizing such events at regular intervals which helps parents to understand classical music and witness their kids performance.

M

Meghana Ghodke

My daughter's Avani and Mahi learn Hindustani Classical music in Sangeet Sadhana from last couple of years. I would say it's one of the excellent vocal music school in Bangalore that houses best teachers. I would highly recommend Sangeet Sadhana.

S

Subhankar

Our association with Sangeet Sadhana started around six months back when we put our child in this institution with the intention of getting her moulded in the creative discipline and rigour which Hindustani Classical music is known for. We firmly believe that the decision of ours was the correct one after having experienced the manner in which the teachers put in effort to impart the right musical education. Most importantly, now our child looks forward to attending the classes and her teachers every week.

S

Subhashree Sahoo

I am learning Hindustani classical music in this music school from almost last 6 months. And this 6months of musical journey has been really inspirational for me. The most great thing about the school is the mentors are giving attention to each and every student. They are paying attention to individual's problem and helping us to bring out the best. I have seen a lot of difference in my singing in these 6 months. Before coming to this school I only knew that there are 7 notes we use to sing but now I have started analyzing the notes what are their importance how they sound. If u really wants to learn Hindustani classical music this is really a great place for that.

My experience at sangeet sadhana has been stupendous so far. It was my dream since childhood to excel at the art of music and sangeet sadhana has given me that perfect platform to reconnect and rediscover my passion for learning Hindustani classical music. The school has a very systematic approach and caters to the need of every single student. To develop the need of continuous learning, there are discussions, internal exams, projects and concerts conducted at regular intervals. Overall, it is a divine place of learning and experience for all music lovers.

It's been more than 6 months that I am associated with Sangeet Sadhana school of Music & Art. It provides a sincere platform to connect Hindustani classical music, through not only by vocal but also through traditional instruments play. To encourage my deep interest towards Hindustani vocal, I joined Sangeet Sadhana school of Music & Art, which is known for it's high standard quality teaching, organizing music concert n workshop, not only to promote the richness of Indian music but also to spread the knowledge about music among it's students and others as well. 1 is to 1 guidance, periodic evaluation and personal guidance are few of its specialties which make this institute indifferent from other. In conclusion, my feeling about Sangeet Sadhana is one of the well known institute in city which worship music n try to educate individual of its essence, irrespective of age.

Its been almost 6 months I have joined Sangeet Sandhna and believe me, it is really a wonderful experience. I would surely recommend Sangeet Sadhna if you are planning to learn Hindustani classical and semi classical. All the teachers are really good and helpful. Their methodology of explaining things in both, theory and practical, is really amazing. We do practice in school with Taanpura, Harmonium and tabla. During the practice, teacher concentrates on each and every student, explain their problems and make them correct it. So it is like one on one basis coaching. Also you can send your recordings to them which they will listen and give proper comments. As a beginner, I have started with basic alankars and meerkhand. Till now, I have learnt basic ragas as classical form while thumari, bhajan and tarana as semi classical form. Now, I can see improvement in myself just because of the directions provided by sangeet sadhna. e.g. Initially I was unable to sing lower notes but now I am able to manage it. One more good thing is that Sangeet sadhna provides you a platform to perform in various forms, either exam or events such as concert and annual function. I am glad to be a part of the school and I am very excited continuing my journey here.

I learn classical music in 'Sangeet-Sadhana' where I find the perfect environment to learn music and understand music. Anindita mam, is the best teacher anybody can have for Hindustani classical music.

My experience with sangeet sadhana bas been pretty good for the past 5-6 months that i have been here. Learning any art or skill requires lot of hard work and dedication. Keeping that in mind, the school administration stresses on maintaining discipline. Here are few things about it 1. If anyone is absent for more than 3-4 classes without informing, he/she is confronted directly about this 2. Strict rules for complying with class timings, payment of fees on time are there. 3. Tests are taken regularly and those who are trying but not able to do well in them are given special attention in the school, because its obvious that not everyone can learn a skill in the same pace. And there are activities other than normal classes also, where we can participate voluntarily and learn more. So my overall conclusion about sangeet sadhana is that it is a good place for those who want to learn, and anyone taking learning of music casually won't simply fit in.

Sangeet Sadhana is a music institute that stands truly and surely to promote the heritage of Indian classical music. Here, music is taught with ample emphasis on fundamentals, in an environment that prompts the students to pursue continuous improvement. Students are assisted individually to shed their inhibitions and challenge their own self in their musical journey. With creative courseware design, and a combination of innovative methods like musical events, student projects, Rewards and recognition schemes, a sense of healthy competition is maintained, which encourages the students to stay focussed and run the extra mile. Given the fast pace era that we live in, characterized by paucity of time for even the most important tasks in our lives, such methods adopted by the school help the students by urging them to invest ample attention to riyaaz, and pursuit of excellence. I completed 6 months with Sangeet Sadhana, and I am happy that I chose this institute for my initiation in to this noble art form. With a bit of intent, I have managed to get into the flow and cope with the course demands, in spite of demanding work schedules. Every serious pursuer of music has to realize the importance of making their own personal adjustments if they were to derive maximum benefit from the expertise and intent shown by the able gurus at the institute.

Sangeet Sadhana is my first music school and might be the last one for me. I joined Sangeet Sadhana on January in 2015,just one year back.My voice was not so good for singing and I even did not know what is Saptak in Hindustani Classical Music.During this tenure I have learnt so many Raagas and knew about few famous singers in music industry. My voice has become more addictive for singing now. If I consider about the concert which is going to happen on January in 2016,it made me more busy to practice for longer time at a stretch. So what ever faith I have in me while my voice will reach to the billions of music lovers through out the whole universe,if they ask me where I have learnt music ,I will just convey it is Sangeet Sadhana Bangalore,India. I want to specially thank Ms Anindita Mukherjee Madam,Mr Reetesh Naik Sir and rest Sangeet Sadhana Team members for giving me the opportunity to learn and keeping me busy for singing. Thanks, Animesh Dutta India

Sangeet Sadhana has always been a source of musical inspiration to many. One gets to learn different forms of semi classical music like the Chaiti, bhajan, abhang along with pure classical. The concert experience has been very good. A lot of variety is been prepared and presented for the concert which is tremendous. I enjoy the process of learning music here. Anindita ma’am and Reetesh Sir actually live to the name of this institute “ Sangeet Sadhana”.

Coming from a musical family, I always had the desire to learn Hindustani classical music, but somehow, studies and then career took me away from music. I still kept looking for a good teacher, but mostly got disappointed, sometimes, the music school seemed too commercial or sometimes it was too fast paced for my understanding. Then I discovered Sangeet Sadhna and it changed my life. Anindita Mam and Reetesh Sir are true example of an excellent teacher.Their own passion for music is not only inspiring but addictive too :). Its only been 6 months for me in Sangeet Sadhna but the experience is truly awesome! Thank you Sangeet Sadhna for reviving my passion for music!

Its been almost a year since I started learning classical music in Sangeet Sadhana. Needless to say, I have learnt a lot during this tenure. The individual attention and guidance of Maam and Sir has made the overall experience awesome. The Institute also gives a very homely feeling which makes everyone comfortable to learn classical music. In a word, this is undoubtedly one of the best institutes in Bangalore for a true classical music lover.

I joined the classes for Hindustani classical vocals about a month back and experienced a lot of improvement in my singing and knowledge about music. Ma'am and sir are very helpful and encourage people to learn the fundamentals of classical music. Personal attention is provided to each and every student. The faculty makes sure that every one in the batch understands and learns each and everything that is being taught. A must join for anyone who's looking for a tutor in Hindustani classical music.

Well, they might be good in music skills, also might teach good, I was about to take admission there, but they are very very money minded, which made me loose all interest in them. I understand money is important for everyone, but the way they demand money is not at all good, that too for something sacred like Music.

This institute is represented by talented people having strong background in music and hence are very much capable of imparting the required knowledge to aspiring learners, like myself. There is enough encouragement given to each and every student to help them realise their true potential.

I yearned to learn Hindustani Classical vocal since childhood and finally found Sangeet Sadhana in 2014 December. I fell in love with the place and the people at Sangeet Sadhana, the first day itself. Even if you are looking to learn from scratch at at not-so-tender age, Sangeet Sadhana is an ideal choice for a Guru. If you are looking to get your kid exposed to the world of music, Sangeet Sadhana would be the place to be. I have enrolled for the weekend batch and waking up early is now fun! I would recommend Sangeet Sadhana for any individual at Bangalore, who is passionate and wants to experience being a part of music.

I am attending classical music classes in this institute for couple of months and am really satisfied with the detailed teaching process along with the individual attention given by the teachers to each of the students. I have been in search for a good Hindustani Music school for sometime till I got to know about Sangeet Sadhana. It's been few months in this Journey with my guru Anindita Mam and I can tell that I am with one of the best Hindustani Music schools in Bangalore. She is an inspiring person and pays individual attention to the students. This institution is for students who are serious about learning Hindustani Music. I highly recommend this school for any serious Hindustani students. If you just want to know about Hindustani music, there are enough and more materials available on the web. But if you want to experience music in its purest form and learn it without loosing its essence, This is the place. Enjoy learning in Sangeet Sadhana.

Perfect place to learn hindustani classical music. Does not matter whether you already are a singer or an absolute beginner. The details and nitty-gritty of music, from theory to practice are explained well. Does not matter how many students are there in the class, the amount of personal attention given keeps a beginner like me motivated to learn, practice, and improve. Most people may want to learn music but they feel shy to join a class as they think their voice does not sound good enough (atleast that's what I use to feel). But believe me, once a person enters this class, the mere attention and way of teaching makes the person feel comfortable and the insecurities just vanish.

I joined this Institute in December 2014. The two things I liked the most are the environment and importance to individual attention. I recommend everyone to join this institute if you are really passionate to learn Hindustani Classical music with a correct guidance. I like the teaching methodology of Anindita Mam & Reetesh Sir and the way they explain importance of each thing in detailed manner. I have seen lot of improvement in myself in these two months.

The experience you will have in this school can't be simply explained. You start feeling good about learning here right from your first class. You start understanding from the basics and assurance that you will be inspired all the way is reserved. Thank full to ma'am and sir for taking care of every right and wrong of mine. A bright and wonderful experience.

My experience at Sangeet sadhna has been very fruitful. The teaching pattern is interactive. Helping in maintaining the zest for music among all students. Each individual is made aware of their lacunae and how to work on them. Discussions on the history of music and ragas makes the entire approach quite unique.I have had a 'steep' learning curve in the institute and have gained invaluable insight into hindustani classical music in a relatively short span of time(about ten months now). The efforts put in by our teacher and her attention to detail, inspires us all to do the same.

Sangeet Sadhana is the best school to learn music. I really feel lucky to being as a student here. the teachers are very nice and patient, they will teach you as many times until we can sing. they put individual attention on each and every student. i would recomend to this school to people who wants to learn music.even they will give extra classes if we miss the class. they will organize concert also.. so start your music career here. i will say in a simple way that Sangeet Sadhana is the best Music school in Bangalore.

I had been searching for a school in bangalore where I can find the same or more amount of passion for music as i feel, and I feel that I found what I had been looking for. No matter what your age is,what profession you're from, whichever walk of life you come from..you can easily blend in and learn music from scratch...So much of attention is given to every person to help them grow,in knowledge and in confidence. You start understanding music and honestly I feel I can sit there for hours and hours and just feel so much at ease. We can practice here and whatever you learn, you can be fearless in expressing any doubt, problem etc. and you will be helped out. We learn about different kinds of music and so much of knowledge is shared about it's history, the maestros and legends in music. It's just brilliant... :)

Sangeet Sadhana, the moment you enter the institute, you will know why the institute is named so. I have been searching for a good classical teaching institute for quite some time in Bangalore and finally got lucky when I read about this institute and decided to join. There are lot of things which make this institute special and different from all the other ones. Before starting on a raga, we are given a very thorough introduction on the raga as to when its sung, why its sung and lot of other details which is very rare. The passion which the gurus of this institute share for classical music and the knowledge about classical music is awesome. If you are are classical music lover, then there is no need to look further. You can join this institute and embark on a beautiful journey towards learning classical music. Having said all this, as a beginner you will need to put in a lot of effort to practice and not skip any classes.

I've been a student of Sangeet Sadhana for more than 7 months now and I must say that my journey here has been wonderful. Sangeet Sadhana is a place where you can learn the complexity of Hindustani classical music with ease from our guru Mrs. Anindita Mukherjee. Her singing and musical knowledge is just impeccable. It's a blessing for a person to get a guru like her. You'll get to know the various styles and aspects of singing, meet a lot of good talented musicians and besides that, you'll get to enjoy the best musical environment. I personally felt improvement in my vocals after I joined Sangeet Sadhana and am very confident in recommending Sangeet Sadhana to anyone who wants to learn music. Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent. Keep learning. :)

I wanted to take this opportunity to appreciate Ms Anindita Mukherjee's efforts in running Sangeet Sadhana. My daughter has been her student for nearly 1.5 years and her teaching has helped my daughter grasp the fundamentals of classical music. Ms. Anindita's enthusiasm and patience is always visible, especially while teaching younger kids. She has gone out of the way many times to spend more time teaching students. I also am pleased for special things she does for students, like taking them for live concerts and trips where the students could interact with stalwarts from the field of music. I look forward to many more years of fruitful learning for my daughter from Sangeet Sadhana. Regards. Moushami Mulye

Sangeet Sadhana- As the name itself explains that it’s a place where the SADHNA of SWARs takes place. Chanting of Swars in its proper intensity & frequency ia as magical as chanting words of a Mantra & This is all about we Learn in Sangeet Sadhna. The Interest may be in Folk, it may be semi classical, it may be a light singing- But all above these, the Origin is one & only "Classical Music". It is as important as the Foundation of building. To culture a Melodic Voice, "Riyaz" is the only way & Sangeet Sadhna shows one of the correct paths to prepare us to be a better Singer. The SOUL of Sangeet Sadhna is none other than our GURU "Ms. Anindita Mukherjee "- it’s not only her Teaching contents & process, but also her Dedication towards Classical music what “Sangeet Sadhana” today is as well as Gives us. I Feel Lucky that I got a chance to be her Disciple. In one sentence it can be stated that this is a Musical Paradise for a student who really understands the need & importance of True Music in his/hers Life....
