It is good that you want to learn English. What is your academic qualification? How much of English you can understand?

Ask your friends to assess you and people who know you can give better tips.

To learn English (Spoken, Business, Academic, Lit.) there are a variety of ways. One way is in School as a foreign language and another as Native English

The latter depends largely upon the environment you are living in and the languages you hear (unconsciously or consciously). The way a child learns English in a Convent or Public School, or in England, Australia, NZ, Canada, US, RSA. SInce English is the language on hears the most, one naturally picks it up.

The former methodology relies mainly on providing enough Grammar and Composition inputs along with exposure to quality reading texts, essay and paragragh compositions, writing, orals and oratorials, etc to develop English.

Simple and most practical way to start is by developing your English Knowledge & Comprehension (Text >>>> Vocal)
You need a peer group who converse in English and with whom you could converse freely in English. You should start with thinking in English rather than in vernacular language.

Listen to quality English Channels on TV and Radio - Like BBC,English News on Channels.
Read English Newspapers and Classical Readings from Great Authors like Ernst Hemmingway, Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle, Thomas Hardy, Charles Dickens, HG Wells, Brontes, et al.

That is for starters. Believe me, you acquire a language speaking skills faster if you spend more time daily with it. «less

Consumer surplus is the difference between the total amount that consumers are willing and able to pay for a good or service (indicated by the demand curve) and the total amount that they actually do pay (i.e. the market price).

DEFINITION of 'Consumer Surplus'

An economic measure of consumer satisfaction, which is calculated by analyzing the difference between what consumers are willing to pay for a good or service relative to its market price. A consumer surplus occurs when the consumer is willing to pay more for a given product than the current market price.

INVESTOPEDIA EXPLAINS

'Consumer Surplus'
Consumers always like to feel like they are getting a good deal on the goods and services they buy and consumer surplus is simply an economic measure of this satisfaction. For example, assume a consumer goes out shopping for a CD player and he or she is willing to spend $250. When this individual finds that the player is on sale for $150, economists would say that this person has a consumer surplus of $100. «less

But regular study is better than a correspondence. So i think join the regular course rather than private study.

If everybody in a society understands economics well they will realize that the main agent for survival are: production and consumption.

Now everybody knows intellectually about the mechanics of production and consumption they will contribute to it immensely and in turn their standard of living will appreciate and then the society will be a better place to live.

Rutuja replied | 26/06/2016

Economics is the social science that describes the factors that determine the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. So, its as simple as that...just the way you manage the production, distribution and consumption of household goods and services, in the same way the nation's financial planning is the most important aspect of governance!
