"What is Pythagoras theorem?" in CBSE/Class 10/Mathematics, Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition

Basically Pythagoras theorem applies to right angled triangle. Pythagoras theorem is a relation between the three sides of a right angle triangle. It states that the square of the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides (namely Base and Perpendicular). In A Right angle Triangle ABC Right angled At B the Pythagoras theorem is given by:- (AC)^2 =(AB)^2+(BC)^2. Pythagoras Theorem is also Known as Baudhayan Theorem. It can be proved by using Concept of Area of Parallelograms and triangles or can be prove by concept of Similarity of triangles.
