Hello,

I am a student of Saptak School of Music, one of the most renowned music organizations in india. Just a year back i have started teaching at Saptak. Teaching helps me to realize what i have been taught in a much deeper sense, it has helped me to value the education given to us more.

Tabla is a very challenging instrument as it is used mostly as an accompanying instrument in ICM. Its versatility adds to this challenge. A tabla player has to be give his 200% while performing. Aesthetics, Presence of mind, Basic Mathematics are some of the key traits one should learn.

ICM being all extempore music all these characteristics should be developed in a proportion.

My strength as teacher is the all round knowledge passed on to me by my guru's, patience with which i can teach and the little experience gathered by performing.

I am fortunate to accompanied maestros of indian classical music. I myself have learnt lot many nuances of our music by listening various artists performing live or on you tube or listening there recordings and discussing the same with my gurus. I would like to follow the method of teaching.
