I want to do photography course, so camera is compulsory for basic course?

If you want to do a photography course, camera is really necessary.It is not necessary to buy a specific brand or model of camera but a basic gear is must.Mobile photography is interesting but if you are truly interested in this field, i surely recommend you to buy a camera.
