1 + 1 = 2 (Take one finger on your right hand and one finger on your left hand. Count how many fingers are open now. 1 and 2, easy)
Now 2+ 3 = 5 (Take two fingers on your right and three fingers on your left. Count how many fingers are open. 1 2 3 4 5; got it.)
So addition means you will be given two numbers. You have to take 1st number on the one hand and the second number on the other hand and count altogether.
