It has English, math, reading, science and writing sections where writing is optional. It is a 3 to 4 hour long test. It is on par with SAT test. which means many schools in USA accept either your ACT or your SAT scores, u dont need to give both. ACT is getting quite popular with USA and indian subcontinent students, party because it has no negative marking like SAT has. read less
